How To Use Picassa
FindACar.com.au only accepts JPEG's that are a maximum 300 pixels wide and less than 100kb in size. Picasa makes the process of resizing your image simple. Following is a quick guide on how to prepare your photos so they are the right size for uploading to FindACar.com.au.
Start Picasa
When Picasa opens, you should be able to easily find the folder containing the photos of your car that you want to upload.
Choose a Photo
Double click on a photo of your car that you like - Picasa let's you enhance the photo so it looks as good as possible, but we'll leave you to explore the enhancement options yourself.
Export the Photo
Click File, then Export Picture to Folder (or just hold ctrl+shift+s down together)
Export Settings
When the Export to Folder window is displayed, choose the location you want to save your file to. You will need to remember this location when you are ready to upload your photos to the FindACar.com.au website.Under Image Size Options, click the Resize to: option, and enter 300 in the pixels box. Leave the Image Quality JPEG Setting at 85%
Export Complete
A folder window will be displayed containing the location of your files. Repeat the process for any other photos you would like to upload.
